Cheap and easy. I did 2 of these. Going to do another for some .22s. Takes up a lot of space to give the rifles room to breath.

Cheap route peg boards..a little step up metal peg boards.

Expensive route slat walls, really expensive gladiator slat walls but that may be over doing it.

I went with the jifram and it worked out great. Also here are the hooks I got for the slat wall

The room is in the basement with only one possible access. The house has ADT security and my cousin works from home. He will definitely reinforce the basement door before setting up his man cave.

Most people just leave pegboard as-is, or maybe paint it, but at the end of the day it still looks like a pegboard. That's why when I do this, I'm going to line the pegboard with felt fabric. Only issue is that when you move pegs, you might have little holes in the felt where old pegs used to be, but felt is cheap.
