I am in the process of gathering my parts to start building an ar pistol. So I go to buy the jig at a shop. I purchased their last one. These things sure are pricey. And when I get home and open it up I noticed I was given a stainless steel version. I paid the $150 price for a $200 item. It's small time I know, but I feel like I finally got a deal on something nice.
Now since I can't seem to find the drill bit kit. Can I use standard drill bits?

We have the tool kits in stock which include all the necessary drill bits, custom drill collar stop, and custom USA made end mill. Since you are fairly local (we're in Santa Ana), delivery should only take a day or two from the time the order is placed. You can use standard off the shelf drill bits. However, we recommend that you use high quality bits for aluminum, specially if drilling into a 7075 lower. The end mill is custom made with very short flutes so you don't have to worry about chewing up your jig on the first few passes. Most of the off the shelf end mills have longer flutes which will come into contact with the jig until you have made a few passes. Here is the link to the tool kit:
