Sounds like a great time! I'm going to try and make it next Saturday to try out a new pistol. Hoping to have it broken in and ready by then.

So you basically line up with 20 rounds ready? I don't have a holster, but is it ok to keep the extra magazine in your pocket?

I'm no expert, but I would recommend a holster of some sort. I didn't have a mag carrier. I kept the extra in my cargo pocket.

I will be buying a mag carrier in the near future. no fun fishing for the reload when the 5ft nothing lady next to you is cleaning all the plates...

Prolly was me (I was shooting a Beretta Elite2). At least, it sounds like my shooting that day.

Talk about frustrating. The plates seem to get smaller and smaller with each miss. But good fun when you hit them. I'm used to larger poppers and IPSC style targets. But in the club match I shot today at Concord, we had one of those small ones as part of an activator for a disappearing target. Still missed a few times, but I did manage hit the SOB.

It was a little scary. But the ROs kept them safe.

the little 5 ft. asian lady with the scoped 1911? yea, she'll kick yer peanutbutter...

there's another good one there too. really tall (and pretty cool) guy. i think his name's Rod or something.

he has a habit of hiting every plate and popper in nothing flat, then hit the sillioute on the side until the other guy finishes...

so the other guy is struggling to hit his plates and hears the "bong...bong...bong"...

That guy cleaned me out more than a few times. At the end of the night, I did finally beat him (and I was the one hitting the metal IPSC target). But I think it was a fluke. But it did feel good.

every once in a while, this real tall guy shows up with a 6 shooter and a bunch of moon clips in a funny little rig...

              ain't that bad either...

I can't go next weekend. I've been informed by SWMBO that Sat is Circus day. Gotta take the little screamers to look at elephants (actually, it should be fun. My little one thinks animals are the shiznit).

Ghideon, that was you (and I didn't mean to make fun). I was the guy in the New York City t-shirt. I didn't beat anyone the whole time. Always ran out of ammo before it was time to hit the yellow plate.

I'd love to try out that course with my Winnie 94 in .45 Colt. It would be a hoot!

Sounds like the time a buddy of mine went to see the world championships and came back with video of Vera Koo, who cleaned out the place without breaking a sweat.

I wish my mom was as cool as her...
