    Davis St. Range San Leandro

Got PO'd at the Mrs. today and went to the range to relax.. took my M9 and G17 and 500rnds of 115gr FMJ's ... 45min and 400rnds later.. I was totally relaxed Only a few people there... was able to rapid fire quite a few mags.. range master came out to see my target saw one big hole in the center and just said ok.. and went back inside....... kept all but 5 or 6 in the black (8") at what ever the short distance is outside (7yds??)

Who was the range master? Did you ask prior to rapid fire?

^ Is it the old dude with the glasses and ball cap? Man, I'd love to shoot my 52D and M12 @ 100 yds. after work.

dang, every time I have been there I always get yelled at whenever I exceed the "1 shot, 1 second" rate. I put all my shots in the black at 25 yards but they are pretty anal with me...

Huh, weird. I always do double taps and some rapid strings there. No one ever said boo about it. I didn't realize it was against their rules.

every saterday night, from about 5pm-10pm, they have a steel shoot. they setup some steel targets (pepper poppers and round knock overs), people go up 2 at a time, first to knock down his 10 targets wins.

no prizes, it's just for fun. bring a holster, some ammo, and $12 for the range fee, you'll be glad you did

more info on their website: http://slrange.tripod.com/

                              No 22LR at 100 yards?

I didn't have ay complaints with my old Marlin at Metcalf for 100 yards. Now, when I tried pistol, I could not keep them on the paper, and they asked me to stay at 50 yards, until I got better.
