Don't forget to use youtube to see if their are any tips on breaking down your pistol for cleaning.Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

A boresnake is good.
You do not have enough rounds thru the pistol to clean it. Wait until 500-1000.
It is called a "cleaning rod". A push rod is in a car/truck engine
Nothing wrong on a solo range trip.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
