The .30cals may be Blackhawk cans, made in USA.

I saw a whole pallet of them at the Hayward store a couple of days ago. I think they are pretty decent quality for the money. The lock-down lever might be a bit tighter on the few real Mil-spec cans I have but the Costco ones are good enough for storing extra ammo in my garage. A pretty good copy IMO.

As to Costco's no weapons policy, remember that they sell gun safes all the time, and now they have ammo cans.
I like Costco.. they run a good business model and while they have a no-gun policy they still sell "gun stuff" so they aren't that anti.

Besides, their silly CCW rule means nothing to me since it's not a binding law on carrying in the store.

I bought a pair of the cans at the Rancho Cucamonga store and they are pretty nice and heavy duty.. fine for what they are intended to do. Two for $20 is a good deal, but I would pay a few more for USA made "just because"

The lake Elsinore store had two pallets covered in them. I was tempted but I really don't have money to blow right now

The best part of all is that each nested ammo can contains a desiccant pouch!!! FOR FREEEE
