Finally found guns worth sticking with

    I have bought 7 pistols since I turned 21, and 2 shotguns, and 3 rifles since I turned 18.
So that's 12 guns that I've bought so far.
I had 1 stolen, so that doesn't count.
But I finally found the guns I can stick with for a while:
    -Beretta PX4 in 40
    -Glock 26 in 9mm
    -S&W M&P 15 II in 5.56
I don't know why but when I bought the other 8 guns (stolen Glock 19 not included) pretty much the second I picked them up I wanted to trade them for something different.
My three current guns I finally feel are the ones I should stick with.
I do want to add a Glock 19 back in though.

I was in the same boat, unless you like having a bunch of safe queens and not shooting them.

I have never sold a gun, by the time I put my money down for a gun, I know my daughter will be selling when I am dead...at least that is what I used to think, now it might be confiscated first

Was a 1911 amongst the pistols you've owned? Once I tried a .45, I had to keep it.

I owned a Kimber and I sold it after shooting it once. I didn't like it too much.
If I had sprang for the officer's model in eclipse I would probably still have it though.

It's not easy, I've been living on my own for almost 3 years now.
But I save money for things that matter lol.
And I work 60 hour weeks to ensure that I can afford it lol.

Give it two more years, you'll find three more firearms that are perfect for you. This happens every two years until your safe is full, then you buy a new safe, then when your homes runs out of room for safes you buy a new house for the extra room. this cycle will continue until you are broke or dead.

                  Happy shooting..

Agreed. My safe is over-filled, but resisting to buy another safe, because that will result in me wanting to fill a new safe. It's been nothing but frustrating because I want to buy another safe and more guns, but I need to save the $ for a diamond ring for my girlfriend, house repairs, house remodeling, and another house. This hobby has definitely made this point in my life very stressful!

$ for the Glock won't solve my diamond ring, house repairs, house remodel, new home problem. LOL

Congrats on having three good traces at 21.

But if my calculations are correct by the time you reach age 84 (21x4 =84) you will have four times as many guns as the three you have now " that are perfect" .

Still, 12 guns at 84 is very respectable.
