    Why we wear eye pro

This is why you wear eye pro at the range. Side of the case blew out. Fractured the grip and sent shrapnel into my cheeks, nose and forehead. Ouch. Always a good time at the range.

Personally, I just think they make me look operator af.

Glad you're alright and were wearing your eye protection!

These incidents make me wonder if the generic $10-$15 shooting glasses are sufficient.

              Yup, that and worse!

I got a nice scratch on my eye protection exactly over my pupil when something happened with old 30-06.

I was told that my regular prescription glasses were enough. This makes me want to double up on eyes as well.

When I was I kid shooting a 10/22 without eyes on, a piece of crap, powder I think, hit me right in the center of my right eye. Didn't hurt real bad but was scratchy as he'll for days and had a blurry spot in the center of my vision for over a month.
