I've been using this for fishing and shooting for the past 4 years and it's been excellent for keeping brass out of my face, ears, collar, etc. Very ventilated and keeps me cool on 100+ degree days on the water and in the desert.

LMAO I'm sure that thing works like a champ to keep you cool on a hot day but idk how you can shoot straight while wearing it! I'd be giggling so hard to myself and shaking so hard I'd never hit a target! It's ridiculous looking! if it's so hot outside that a regular ball cap isn't enough I'm sure as hell not going shooting, I'll be in a pool sipping suds!

The people that don't laugh are usually the ones that already have an oncologist. I can usually spot them pretty quick.

Tilley Endurable. I'm bald so I know my hats, and the Tilley is the best hat I have ever worn. One in each truck, one on the boat, one at the barn, a couple in the house....

Haha! mine has chin strap. And by the way, are you always in prone position when you shoot there since it so windy that your target stands get knock down.

Tilley hat for sure. Gotta have a full brim to protect the neck. Get the vented nylon ones they're durable lightweight and washable. Cotton ball caps soak up the sweat and build up that funky white crust. Tried the ones with capes and found them to make me hotter under the capes.
