    Plenty of regrets:

    - My first pistol, Glock 19 Gen 2 purchased early 90s
    - Sig 228 West German purchased back in the 90s
    - Sig X5 Competition 9mm (had two but wish I didn't sell one)
    - CZ 97B blued version
    - Para Ordnance P14-45 Stainless
    - Colt Goldcup National Match Enhanced (first 1911 purchased back in the 90s. Had two but wish I didn't sell one)

These are the only ones I remember at this moment.

Mossberg 46B .22 rifle. Sold it and regretted it immediately. I'd love to find another.

Never got rid of any firearms, so no regrets there.

But I regret not buying a revolver til 6 months ago. Got a S&w 686 pc 2 1/2 inch barrel. It's now my favorite and will be on my ccw when I pickup my renewal.

I only regret purchases. Regretful purchases include a Ruger Mini 14 and Sig Mosquito.

No regrets. I learned a lot in the process of buying and selling. I got to try a lot and figured out (hopefully) what I want. Yes, it did cost money, but that is the price of the knowledge I gained.

Even when the end game is to gain knowledge, regrets are possible. Such as earning the wrong degree, or even some wasted time/money on certain courses.

But I see your point. Something was gained from even the poorest of teachers. And so, I learned I don't love .380s, but maybe I don't regret having that Bersa for awhile.

I do still regret not holding onto the P9.

I regret racking up a huge credit card bill from buying every gun that I came across that I kinda wanted so that I wouldn't later regret not buying "that one gun I shoulda bought"

Just gun related regrets, ok I'll just toss one out right now.

A good one would be not buying all the MP-40 kits on the table @ 40.00 each from the Santa Clara County fairground gunshow in the early 80's, or even all the M1 carbines that were there for 50.00 bucks each.

Just seeing what the suckers pay for those over rated toys now makes me laugh.

Colt Python. Blue, six inch. Bought it new at B&B Guns in North Hollywood in 1980 for $400 or so.
I wish I had it now, and not because of how much it would be worth. I loved shooting it. But sold it and bought who knows what.

My biggest regret is not reading blogs on here and learning about SSE before it went away sooner. Was only able to purchase 2 off roster guns through SSE

Every gun I ever sold. If I had them all back they would be worth way more than the rent I needed to make, the car repair that had to be done and that god damned ring I should've never bought her anyways.
