I never got a letter or a phone call. I left voice mail messages and emails and never got an answer. I finally went in and the woman thought I was coming in to get tthe permit, and asked if I had the course and safety check paper work. That was how I found out, and I was fingerprinted in April!

Good news is that I took my weapons in this morning, got them approved at the armoury and then went to Professional Standards and got my permit in less than a half hour.

Everything but the notification of passing the DOJ check went very smoothly.

Was Dwayne the one who did the inspection? Nice guy. He had a tip for me on XD maintenance that I'd never seen on the XDtalk forums. That's a neat room he's got there. Did you see the bullet display? Cool to see them all lined up in rows for real instead of seeing pictures on the net.
