Great story. I have taken many a new shooter with me. Many who were very liberal. It is also nice to start with shooters as young as you can. I had someone by a home next to mine who moved here with her 8 year old son who was a single parent.
He is the same age as my oldest son. Who always felt left out. As well as wanted him to know how to handle a gun safely.
At 10 I asked his mom if he could come since my son was shooting 1-2 times a week with me at the local indoor range. He loved it! But could never get the mom to at least get a gun to protect herself. Even being very liberal "She" did come around very fast to understanding that shooting was a short no different than football ect.
He shot with my son and I well into being an adult. He has now moved away.
Sorry for the long reply just wanted to point out do not forget to take the kids as that time spent will last a lifetime effect on them.
Kids can not vote either but may one day

Yes, work on the kids. They are open-minded and like the fun aspect. Most anti's never shot a gun as a youth. It was something I'll always cherish.

Ahh but you see this non-citizen actually has a job so he likely also obeys most of our laws. It's the trash that comes here for free stuff that will vote regardless of citizenship status

Well, he can still sign those anti-gun petitions, which maybe now he will not. So still a win of sorts on that front.

Yeah next time this will be the conversation:

Coworker: "Hey I hear you shoot guns for fun. Can you take me to the range next time and teach me?"
Me: "Sure, I'd be happy to! But first I gotta ask you, are you eligible to vote?
                  Coworker: "No, why?"
Me: "Okay, that'll be $15 for the range, and $50 to chip in for ammunition."

If he can't vote then 1/4 of the voters in this state can't either, but they do anyways.

Cant get shade without first planting a seed. GJ op, you dont need to FP... taking him through that makes us won one. One becomes to and two becomes four and so on. Your effort, range fee and ammo will be worth more than you think.

Offer to take shooting...deliver to nearest INS facility.

Maybe we need to develop a new shooter questionnaire?!

Lucky for him, it's illegal to ask for ID to vote. Take a point from the liberal handbook and have him go vote 25 times under any name he wants.

Someone wanna post the video of the guy saying he's Eric Holder and they hand him a ballot.
