It cost me $15.00 in scrap metal from IMS and I think $3.00 for the threaded rod used in the trigger linkage. The wood was scrap from a bench I repaired last summer.

I did break a tap but ended up going a different design on the grip bolts so I'm not including that. Probably used $3.00 worth of argon welding and burned up a polishing disc. So all told about $20.00.

It's already fitted with an extended scope mount but the gun rides back about 6" in recoil so a pistol scope would be needed. However the idea is to zero in with the rifle scope so as not to waste Ammo when I use it normally in Nevada on poker trips to Vegas.

Nice. are you going to make a tripod to mount it to? I'm curious about the lower as I haven't looked into the legalities of building what you did but now I want one...lol does it matter if it was drosed as a rifle or pistol or did you build out of a 80%. I'll look as well but are there any resources that you post

Current 50bmg ban applies to rifles, which are shoulder fired.
This is not shoulder fired, so not illegal, so it's legal.

Maybe mount pistol scope on 45 degree mount on right side and move the scope back to normal position for NV shooting.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.
