      IIRC, the cat was defending its kill. The guys chain fell off, the cat was already stalking him when he bent down to fix it. So now this 6 foot tall man is 3 feet tall, the lion attacked, pulled him off the path to enjoy its meal and here come the girls to take away dinner..
