Actually im nto sure this is the truth. many military units have working foreign weapons brought back that they use as training aids. Most times the barrels are plugged gas tubes welded stuff like that. But usually never torch cut. Theres some sort of exemption for .mil that I read about while I was working a month or so ago. I was chekcing into bringing some back for our unit as training aids.
