I can measure quantity but I'm at a lost measuring quality. Do plastic guns qualify as quality? I.e. Oh boy, what a quality injected molded frame. Does a beautiful Kimber that's a jam-o-matic qualify as quality? Does a CZ that's a tack driver, never an ejection or feeding problem but is full of tooling marks qualify as quality? Do only 1911 pistols that cost over $$$$$ qualify as quality?

Quantity is a number and easy to measure.

Quality is more subjective. Fit and finish are nice, but function is the best indicator to me.

As I've gotten older and collection has grown, I've gotten much more picky about what I buy.
