It was coming out both sides of the brake. Standing you could feel the heat along your forearm. Very cool. Fun gun.

Are u using the regular flat tip Alexander rounds

I believe they're 375 or 325g hollowpoints. Got the upper as a gift, came with 60 rounds of ammo. Ammo is potent.

I've heard (you know how that goes....) that standard USGI mags work but need slight modification. Any truth to this? If so, what?

Yes but I don't like using metal mags aslong and correct me if in wrong the mag is labeled ".50 Beowulf " it's legal

Mine worked with standard GI mags. 20 rounder holds 7, 30 holds 10. Fed fiNE for me.

Mine is a 12" barrel pistol. Avoid the Millennium brake as it directs gases and sound towards your face giving a serious headache. It's probably fine for 20"+ barrels. Though it does work good.

I switched to the tank brake from AA, as it directs sideways rather than rearward. Doesn't work as well but doesn't result in a face blast of gases and sound.
