    FireClean sues Weapon Shield, too

    http://www.guns.com/2016/03/31/firec...oil-to-crisco/

I saw on another thread that FireClean also sued Vuurwapen Blog. Part of the allegations against Weapon Shield involve the YouTube video that George Fennell of Weapon Shield created comparing the two products on a Falex lubricity tester.

Weapon Shield is my favorite lubricant, and I hope they prevail in this litigation. Maybe they can dispose of this with an anti-SLAPP motion.

I tried but I could not listen to that guy for more than one minute. I hope he's a better engineer/chemist/scientist/anything than he is a public speaker.

George is a good dude, Weapon Shield has been my preferred CLP for at least 8 years. I wish George luck in this lawsuit.

I know the Falex isn't end-all, be-all, conclusive data, but it's definitely tangible data, and so far, most products pale in comparison to Weapon Shield. On average, it seems that most lubricants (tested) fail / seize at -5lbs.

That said, most lubricants are gimmicks.

I use Weapon Shield on all my guns, too. I hope they prevail here.

                The Falex is a gimmick.

                Proven snake-oil stunt.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

So they got exposed for selling snake oil at ridiculous prices and now they want to get their revenge on the white knights who exposed their lies? Just die already, Fireclean. You too, Froglube.

There was a thread here on Calguns about it, as well as several videos showing how it's used to falsify these "oil test" results and data. Well known by now. You could probably Google for it and find it faster than I can find the links for you and post them here. Not being snarky, just explaining that it's an easy to find item and should yield a lot of hits.

It must be well known, there was a thread on calguns about it... but I'm not seeing anything relevant in quick searches, can you give me the gist of it?

I like weapon shield and froglube, but the videos are flawed IMO.

Between 10:27 and 11:36, you could have found it all yourself.
