Well, if you print and someone knows you have a firearm, they have no idea that you have a permit. Having police respond is not a good thing. It will go to your IA and you will need to explain. The agency who issues the permit will review your file and it will be used as a negative. They can revoke the permit without due process and at any time. Approved by the sheriff and revoked by the sheriff. It is a risk...trust me..the detective advised that printing can result in these situations and they should be avoidable as much as possible. That was on my interview. It is explainable since it is obviously not brandishing, but can be a hassle.

Well, I suppose all that is possible. But I generally try to not let my life choices be overly influenced by wild speculation about what possibly could happen. I'm not worried about it.

yet another weirdness about California gun owners. I am not ashamed that I carry a firearm. In CO I routinely carry open and have had only a couple of "incedents", the most dramatic I already mentioned in this thread.. I guess I just dont act all weird about it so no one else does. I have chatted with an officer of the Loveland PD in the convenience store while he was getting coffee and I was trying to decide on how old the Krispy Cremes were, with my G19 on my hip in plain site. No issue.

Honestly if you cant carry and be natural and NOT think everyone in the world is looking at you like you have a gun on, you need to get over it o join the sheeple in being unarmed.

Yep...Cali is way different CCW than Colorado..No issues in Colorado springs and know the area well...Go to the bay area were everyone is anti gun and it is different...just need to be careful..still can carry but in some areas they won't support you with open arms...usually it is because of being just sloppy...most people will never know you are carrying. SF is fun to carry.
