Open message anyone that notices a CCW

I first want to say that I am sorry for some of my original statements. As some people pointed out, I had a bad attitude about the situation I described. Someone even pointed out that I may have insulted someone with special needs which was not my intention. If I hurt anyone's feelings I am sorry.

In short, I was in a store and had someone wearing a CGN t-shirt come up to me and loudly ask if I was CCWing and tell me about their being denied a CCW. I rudely ignored them and then when that did not work told them I did not want to talk to them which in retrospect I realize could have been seen as confrontational.

If I am really printing, I appreciate a heads up. Just please do so in a discrete way and do not try to engage in a conversation about it. Thank you to all of the members who had constructive comments and if I insulted any member I am very sorry.

Cool story. I've always wondered how to act/react if someone was printing. I've never ever approached anyone tho and wondered if it was good practice to do so.

"who care what other people see"

We all need to be concerned with what other see to some degree, not unless you enjoy frequent LEO encounters and possible loss of CCW

I think Ranger needs a reevaluation for attitude.

I "made" one of my customers a year or so back when he leaned over in front of me to show me the problem with his fridge.

All I could see was the holster clip and I said nothing. It is impolite and unprofessional to "out" someone.

I've seen many, only approached one out of courtesy and politely said sir, you're exposed. He gave me the "nod" of thanks and I went on my way.

              No He does not.

People who are into guns notice a CCW often. Light printing happens, like it or not. I have seen many and the proper thing to do is to go about your business because this is none of yours. Not every one with a CCW wants to become in laws with you the gun enthusiast.

Now, if the shirt is tucked in funny (unintentionally) or stuck in the belt exposing a CC, the only appropriate thing to do is a friendly and low tone hint to the carrier. DO not expect an extended chit chat.

He was referring to some insulting comments I made about the person in the store. I stewed about it while I was driving home (35+ minutes out into the middle of nowhere) and then posted about it after stewing about it and was uncharitable. I did need an attitude adjustment and I should not have been rude to the person in the store as several people pointed out to me, that could have turned the situation confrontational.

                  ^^^
Well, I did not realize you talked to the guy so harshly. What ever you said could have been said in a soft tone. I did not see anything wrong about you posting about the encounter.
                  As you see fit Sir.

It was more what I said on here, the OP was heavily edited.

Ranger, you're a good dude. I see people printing all the time. Notice I said "people" not men or guys. Not my business to talk to them about it, I just wouldn't.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

I've seen more than a few people who carry, i think that's mainly due to the fact that i look for it, clips, loops, printing, ect.

Only one time have i said something to a person,
My family was in Olive Garden, the family across from us - the husband-
was wearing an un-tucked collard shirt that was too short and too small for him. He was carrying on his right side at about 4 oclock.

The printing was so bad that I could clearly see the grip and that it was a double action possibly compact from the length of the grip. It was so rookie looking that i thought for sure if i didn't say something to him someone would call the police...if they hadn't already been called.

When the family got up from the table i motioned for the guy to come over to me, he leaned down and i simply said - your printing badly -.
He said " i know thanks"

His comment left me thinking- if you know your printing that badly, go to the bathroom and readjust, wear your jacket or lock it in the box in your car.

                            why?

would you want a total stranger approaching you and asking if you're carrying?

Because of my original pre-edit rant.
