    Ontario Gun Show....

Who went and what did you think?

Pretty much what I was expecting... super high prices and everything sold out. Not as crowded as OC show but more peeps then the October show.

Got some cleaning supplies and fore grip... almost pulled the trigger on a Shamwow!!!

It's sad that the gunshows have become such a rip off. Admission fees, parking fees, way high prices and the like just doesn't make it worth going.

Even going strictly for the entertainment and not buying anything Isn't worth the entrance fee anymore.

I don't even go anymore. The same with all the buddies that I used to go with all the time.

Most people (end users) want gun shows to make a comeback in this area but with the way gun shows are now, I don't see it happening.

Not many people will (or want to) wait 4 months for the next gun show to come around just so they can buy an overpriced item that they can get now for cheaper and less hassle.

For what it's worth, park across the street (east side of the building) in the parking lot of the red brick building. Parking is free and just a quick walk across the street. That should save you $8 or $10 bucks...whatever parking is these days.

        Hope that helps some.

Also, if you go to the Crossroads Of The West website, you can print out a $1 off entry coupon. Better then nothing.

So far I just saved you $9 between parking and entry. Talk about a nice guy. Have fun!

I go to shows to support the host locations and the vendors - I might not buy everytime but I am there - Shows are being banned by municipalities as we sit here and talk about how we don't want to pay admission fees -

What will you do when gun shows are all banned or closed up?

I am from the Bay Area but here in the LA area for the weekend -

            CWS is there with lowers - 249 for .223 and 499 for .308 -

Folks were clamoring around the ammo booths like flies -

I went but it wasnt for OLLs in particular. Ammo wasnt that great of a deal and the OLLs, well we all know prices and set ups so it was blah. I spent what was to me a lot of money on gear, lasers, parts and things. I liked it because it wasnt crowded but I showed up at 2

There was some asian man selling a ar15 pistol, asked him if it was legal in CA.He said yep,it has a 10 round fixed mag.
Riiiight, that makes it legal.I wonder if he has ever had a visit with ATF/DOJ?

I saw that same ar15 pistol, I asked the same question, my answer was, yes it's legal, it's a single shot...... All the parts are there to convert it to a rifle if you want;-)

meh.... 2K for that thing was crazy overpriced. COOL TO SEE IN KALI THOUGH @ A GUN SHOW!
BTW AR pistols configured properly are LEGAL here in Kalifornia McGyver.
He had a sled mag/and prince 50 in it and would DROS it single shot to make it exempt from the safe list.
Cool part is, once you take possession just remove the sled mag and away you go!
Same rules apply though regarding mag lock and 10rd mag etc.

"Converting" it to a rifle would be illegal. It would be an SBR at that point.
Just DROS it and replace the sled mag with a 10RD.
