So you guys who still go to Turners, do you go there just because they're the only game in town?? I don't get it. I read so much bad stuff about them, I wonder why any Calgunners still go there.

It's hard not to go there when it's only 3 blocks from my house and there's no other real gun store in Long Beach besides Big 5. I've had some good experiences there, and I've been given the cold shoulder a couple times too.

Vote for pro-gun candidates, or lose your rights, and the rights of future generations. That's it. The end.

I agree. Unfortunately, seems like I usually end up up with the latter. Last time I was there, the big guy behind the counter said they couldn't get the Ruger MkIII 22/45. I took my business elsewhere...

I won't purchase another firearm thru them. It's either Fort Courage or Rettings from now on...And more than likely, Fort Courage.

I wouldn't call them a gun store....but some sell guns.

            Not all stores.

I have recently had a terrible incident at Corona Turners.

But you really need to know who to talk to at each store and who to avoid.

            The good guys:

            Norwalk: Jerry or Rich (period)

Corona: I like Chris (young guy but will go find an answer if he doesn't know A for effort)

            Redondo: David (manager)

            San Marcos: Amanda

But I offer this up to those of you who have not yet been crapped on by one of the stores and have sworn them off. If you are going to deal with one of these stores, now you know who to ask for.

                yup that.

department letterhead from head of agency stating name of officer, specifically identifing the make and model of the aw... and because lea provide and issue the non neutered aw's, theres no need to buy it individually. unless yuou work for a very small dept. and they cant afford to get them then the chief might let you get one. that has happened too. but if you are with a big agency, ***etaboutit.

Most cops I know either own an OLL or want one. My former roommate is a cop, and we bought ours at the same time. He's with LVMPD now, and has several REAL evil rifles as a NV resident.

                  Jerk.

Oh, and Reseda Turners is about a quarter mile from my house.
