    Anti 2A bullet button arguments...

    I need to vent.

I have a liberal friend, who I am reconsidering being my friend, who decided it was a good idea to send me guns reform emails.

I ofcourse politely responded that I don't adhere to such arguments, and I would like to keep my guns. I also advised him that the new Bullet Button law will disable my rifle, and that is where I draw the line.

He proceeds to tell me that gun reform laws are like drunk driving laws.

I lost it. I told him to go **** himself.

    Rant over.

You can't win every argument, maybe next time!

Keep him as a friend if he is a good guy (other than being delusional), always fun to have someone to argue with from time to time. I have 1 of those as well, easy as hell to piss off. I invite him and his wife to dinner every time I get a new firearm just to show him

Yeah, he is a good guy. Just looney as you say. He actually likes to shoot with me. He got disinvited a little while ago. Ain't no shooting with anti-2As. That is a hard and fast rule I'm going to live by from hereon.

Buy him the cheap yearly NRA membership. Its like 30 or 40 bucks. Anti's HATE the NRA more than the guns themselves.

This describe my friendship. But with the BB law looming, I am on the edge. Quite pissed.

I really try not to make judgement calls, but I have to say that if anybody I know sent me CRAP like that, there would not be any further conversation. I find most people of that mentality extremely frustrating, and difficult to talk with anyway. Trust me when I say you can do better.

Did he elaborate on that before the self-reproduction suggestion?

Seems some of the best friends I've had over the years were the ones that could give me a good argument. Everybody agreeing on the same points all the time gets real boring.
I meant, it is my opinion that...

I find that its helpful to ask questions. Why are you sending this to me? Do you think I am a criminal? Why do you think this analogous to drunk driving laws?

Sit back and watch the stupid happen. If they get mad because you're curious how they formed their opinions and asked them to explain their rationale, it's probably because they realize their position isn't soundly supported.

The new restrictions are nothing like drunk driving laws. Drunk driving laws only affected people who drove drunk and endangered others.

Don't know how you could be a friend to some one who is anti liberty and pro big government slavery. I consider people on the other side my enemy and could never be friends with one. It's like being friends with Stalin, Mao, or Hitler. Because that's basically what "Liberals" want. Is that type of totalitarian government.

Here, show your "Liberal" friend this video and tell him to watch all of it.

If he doesn't get it then he never will.

It's called "gun control" for a reason. Firearms are power. If only the federal government has firearms and the people are disarmed, then the government has complete control to do what ever they want.
