Maybe ranges should start posting signs banning suicide on the premises. Just ask the politicians, banning things work.

+1 on banning suicides in ranges I think that is a great Idea.... we need to do it "for the children"Comment

Darn... This is bad news, not only for you but for all of us that use your range facilities...Originally posted by Target Masters WestThe Buddy System was enforced. The lady came in the shop with 2 other people who stayed outside while she was in the bay shooting. The police are investigating the situation.
Hopefully this incident won't affect your business.
When are you going to be back on business?
Best luck to all you guys...

This won't stop me from going there however I will be more alert about the people using the range. Which bay did this happen?Comment

Why? If they are open, it will be cleaned up I am sure. If anything, support them more because think about it, they ere closed for the forensics and investigation, they LOST money. If they were a local range here I would do what i can to support and help.Originally posted by capitolI'll say right now it's affecting their business. I was planning on shooting there Friday and after reading this story I changed my mind.
Im going to Chabot today instead.
Or have i misinterpereted what you said?Comment

bush, it's creepy to me thats all. if i went shooting there i would be looking for blood on the floor and wouldn't be able to concentrate. i would be forever thinking is this the bay that woman shot herself, was it the bay next to me and so on.Comment

Most ranges have had at least one suicide.....
Hehe, maybe a ghost will come and make you misfire.Originally posted by KestryllThe volume of blood necessary to achieve erection would cause you to either pass out or if you didn't and managed to maintain an erection you would likely die from lack of oxygen to the heart and brain.Originally posted by ivanimalJust be glad you are not his next door neighbor. I am sure there are "good tunes" flowing out the window. I am imagining a cop car pulling up at 1:30 AM asking "Are you having a party?" and Bundo sayin "Nope just me and the BG's"

Are you serious?? Do you do that when you drive down the road "did someone die in this lane, on this street?" People die every day all around us. On the road , in line at the supermarket, in the McDonalds drive through. You can't let that stufff get to ya.
Go shooting and enjoy yourself. You gotta remember: this persons problem was not yours, she owned her misery...I feel for her family and secondly for her, but past that.....I have enough to worry about in my own life to worry about things like this, life is too short.
Just enjoy your life!Comment

Maybe she didn't own a gun and knew she could rent one...
Self inflicted gunshot wound sounds to be about the most painless way to go, besides heroin overdose lol.
