Maybe ranges should start posting signs banning suicide on the premises. Just ask the politicians, banning things work.

+1 on banning suicides in ranges I think that is a great Idea.... we need to do it "for the children"

Darn... This is bad news, not only for you but for all of us that use your range facilities... Hopefully this incident won't affect your business.

When are you going to be back on business?

Best luck to all you guys...

I'll say right now it's affecting their business. I was planning on shooting there Friday and after reading this story I changed my mind.
Im going to Chabot today instead.

Why? If they are open, it will be cleaned up I am sure. If anything, support them more because think about it, they ere closed for the forensics and investigation, they LOST money. If they were a local range here I would do what i can to support and help.

Or have i misinterpereted what you said?

Most ranges have had at least one suicide.....

Hehe, maybe a ghost will come and make you misfire.

Are you serious?? Do you do that when you drive down the road "did someone die in this lane, on this street?" People die every day all around us. On the road , in line at the supermarket, in the McDonalds drive through. You can't let that stufff get to ya.

Go shooting and enjoy yourself. You gotta remember: this persons problem was not yours, she owned her misery...I feel for her family and secondly for her, but past that.....I have enough to worry about in my own life to worry about things like this, life is too short.

                        Just enjoy your life!

Self inflicted gunshot wound sounds to be about the most painless way to go, besides heroin overdose lol.

Heck no, hurtling toward water that will be as hard as rock at 120mph doesn't sound very "un painful"
