Cops Arrest Man For Having Too Much Ammo, Guns

Gun owners have to be extra careful these days to avoid not only incurring the wrath of overzealous law enforcement but playing into the hands of the anti-gun crowd as well. Case in point is Guo Shou, a Queens man who was taken into police custody after authorities exercised a warrant to search his apartment and found a massive arsenal in it. What they found was enough weapons and ammo to “take on a small army”, per Queens District Attorney Richard Brown. Among his inventory were 14 legally-obtained handguns, 2 licensed and loaded shotguns, 1 licensed rifle and around 45,000

Mr. Shou wasn't arrested for having too much of anything. Article says the police arrested him for failing to "store" it properly... wherever he is.

I thank god everyday that I live free and able to do and have anything I want without some minority group dictating unreasonable demands on my constitutional freedoms...

Guns in safe, Lock and key storage container for ammo = no issues and no unauthorized access against illegal searches

In New York you're required to obtain a purchase permit and keep everything locked. Part of that purchase permit is that you sign away your 4th amendment rights and they can come at any time and perform a security check to make sure you are in compliance with storage laws.

This is NY, but IF not challenged, or upheld by the courts, comes to a city in CA soon. It's a race to see who can get away with the biggest infringement of the 2A.

All I want the SCOUTS to do is define, "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED", and the discussion is over.

Even the Most Liberal Justice(s) can not argue that the legal definition of SHALL is anything other than "an imperative command" as in "you shall not kill", and that INFRINGE is legally defined as, "The encroachment, breach, or violation of a right, law, regulation, or contract."

Yes they can. They have done so in the past, and they will do so in the future.
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

Wait, doesn't the executive branch have the power to selectively enforce ANY law as they see fit? So much for those who think LEO will stand at the side of citizens when it comes to BS laws.
