Who recall the story of the guy passing away in his car in LA...

LAPD took more than 2,000 firearms to "determine" if they were legal....

          No PC

          They just took them
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
          (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

You guys are insane. Nothing good (for us) will come of this. This is same ole same ole.

Even when we win, some liberal judge takes the football away at the last second. We, of all people, should know this very well.

Also, since I don't reload, someone enlighten me if powder is actually that dangerous? It would make sense but I don't trust this complete **** storm of a biased article.
Gasoline is far more dangerous than gun powder. Gun powder can't be lit by sparks and doesn't start fires very easily. That being said, over 200# of powder is enough to blow up a house and injure people all over the neighborhood. I could see a reckless endangerment charge being somewhat reasonable. Unless it was properly stored, then effff that.

Huh? Gunpowder can't be lit by sparks? Isn't that the whole principle of a flintlock? Or is black powder different than smokeless? And if so, why is everybody worried about steel core ammo sparking range fires?

Well, it's very unlikely. I've tried to ignite a pile of imr 4064 using a dead lighter and only Flint sparks. Nothing.

                  Black powder is way different.

Sparks can easily start dry brush fires

Well, Mr. Shou is just the average Calgunner. I don't know why he moved to Queens but failed to post a how to here before his move.

What a crock of shet. So, he failed a storage guide line. Give him a warning ticket and 30 days to obtain proper storage boxes, what ever that is. I'm sure there is more than enough real crimes in Queens to go after.

In reality, he'll probably plea out for a shorter sentence and lose his 2A rights anyway.

Um, what? That much powder could cause significant damage to his apartment, the neighboring apartments, and the exterior walls but it will not "blow up". Gunpowder will merely burn if not within a sealed container.

On another note, I wish I had 200lbs of powder.

Shows the difference between smokeless powder & black powder. Pretty impressive. That man has just way too much fun in his backyard (range).
