I've never bought anything from them or visited them, but I've been tired of them pushing the envelope without anything for us to gain and a lot to lose.

Pushing the envelope for high gain and little loss to the community is fine and good, but what they have done in the past is just stupid.

I ordered an 80% in February. Several emails even after the change and lots of promises but no delivery. Guess I'm SOL.

No loss. They were a terrible place that screwed over a lot of good people here.

Walked up to the door and heard voices inside, so I decided to knock. Guy answers the door and tells me to come in. Looks like the place where most of the Ares sling and bags were made. Guy tells me Ares Armor and American Weapons is out of business and the bank now owns the inventory inside. But, he was nice enough to find a sling that was laying around and gave it to me. Same sling I had ordered. Sucks they are gone now, but if you are local, they will try to make it right.
This doesn't bode well for me... I guess I'll try visiting this weekend (since I was going to be down there anyways) but it looks like I may have to do a dispute...

But they carried alot of cool stuff as well and the Mil/1st responder program was good. I got my M&P 9 FS for $350 from there.
Im guessing they where not making any money so they bounced. Oceanside used to be so Tacti-Cool....now it barely has anything.

Good bye. It's all about actual customer service not good intentions. If you can't deliver a product after taking money you should go out of business.

Good riddance. Two cliches come to mind.

I never cared to read anything about the back story with them. A supporter of freedom and former military he has been fighting the fight. Good bad or indifferent, he has been in the fight here in Ca. The build party BS just reminds me of the ULOC crowd. Everyone got all mad at them because they "got open carrying banned". I mean, really? You are not going to exercise a right if you are afraid someone is going to make an unconstitutional law to ban that right, that is now actually helping in the current carry case. UNLOADED at that. The unloaded part being just a peaceful protest.

The only issue I take up with him, is his stunt smoking dope on youtube and high as a kite rambling on like an idiot.

They find time to post every day on their Facebook page but don't reply to my emails...

I bought a Derma plate carrier before they became AWC and didn't get it, so it's too late for a credit card dispute. Is it realistic to get my money back via a small claims court?
