That's why we need to be organized and work hard towards defeating this creep and his "safety" act. we can't afford to wait and just let him prance into office. The time is now to step up our involvement in the political process before it's too late.

I think Buzzworm is suggesting that we shouldn't just "wait" for it to happen. We should do everything in our power as a community to prevent it from happening at all. There is great strength in numbers. If gun owners in California have the resolve to stand up and fight together, we can change the status quo in this state.

i agree with both of you, but what do we do? what can we do? in a state where scum like feinstein get millions of votes? considering this, its only reasonable to assume that newsom might as well prance into office.

No guns in NYC, most of us know that already.

Yes, ANYONE. Once you're red flagged, the various types of this bull**** retraining orders allows them to use the most simplest one against you, the one where the law decides for itself..

Example: Someone that does not like you personally red flags you and deems you a "gun nut", now an officer of the law has what he needs to assert as reasonable cause to believe that the "gun violence" restraining order is required.

FFL's profit from this as it would be ideal to turn your firearms/ammo over to them for "safe" keeping but an FFL may not always be available and so you're stuck with handing them over to the local PD, good luck getting them back.

From what I have seen in reports you may get your guns back but they will never give back the ammo, even if it is shown that the RO was bogus.

It was a horrible law, but to this date, I am unaware of any court issuing such a warrant. I work for a large agency and the topic has come up before, but nobody has any knowledge of it actually being used yet. Might be harder to get than one is led to believe.

The criminals have the right idea, don't license your guns and no police inspection or seizure.

WE MUST,,,Look long and hard at every politician that wants to get in office in communistfornia. Granted we don't have a great deal of input BUT, we must gather as many as possible and preach about going to vote in November, for some kind of CONSERVATIVE support when the elections come around. In recent years the conservative voters have opted out of voting due to lack of interest......THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN AGAIN ! iF YOU WANT TO STOP NEWSOM,,,,WE REALLY MUST GATHER VOTERS AND POINT OUT THE STORIES OF ILLEGAL ALIENS SHOOTING CITIZENS IN THE STREET. It sounds bad but, the average voter just doesn't care about those of us with guns. We have been vilified by the media and politicians.
You must quit hiding and show America what a " Responsible Gun Owner" looks like !

IF YOU DON'T DEFEND THE GUNS AND YOUR RIGHTS TO OWN THEM,,,,THEY WILL COME FOR THEM !!

I highly recommend learning how the LGBT community has pushed for their rights and passed legislation.

It is what we will have within 2 years of Newsom gaining the governor's throne.

I don't see much good that can come from registering what isn't already registered. The end game is confiscation. No doubt about it.

I'll register all my long guns that I've bought since long gun registration kicked in. I'll have to figure out what to do with the rest. I'll take them and pass them out to hoodlums who frequent rich, white liberal neighborhoods before I turn them in. That, or move them out of state.
