Yep. I did quarterly though. I'm okay with drawing it out over 5 years or whatever the duration is. $25 every 3 months? Won't even notice it.
Just waiting for my stuff to show up. Though if they shipped it in a box or something, I should probably go check with my apartment complex office to see if they got it. I have no idea if they were sending me a bag or what.Comment

Here's the direct link for the discounted NRA membership, get to gettin'.
The National Rifle Association is America's longest-standing civil rights organization. Together with our more than five million members, we're proud defenders of history's patriots and diligent protectors of the Second Amendment.
Anyone feel like signing up Kamela and Gavin for a lifetime membership? I'm sure they would whole heartedly enjoy it, plus it wouldn't break the bank at $25/quarter for good fun.Comment

"If you donate today, you only have to buy a starving child in Africa HALF of the vaccines he needs, but you won't care because you got the same neat card in the mail as everyone else!"
"Wait! Don't donate 40 articles of clothing to the homeless yet, they're having a sale next week where you only have to donate 25 articles of clothing, but you still get to feel just as good about it!"
Are you guys joining for social reasons, or to actually help the NRA?Last edited by CandG; 02-12-2016, 3:15 PM.Comment

Really dude?

I would have never bought an NRA life membership for $1000. Especially not $1500. My dues had lapsed for a couple of years now (I think 2013), but the "sale" was more than enough to convince me to re-up and even go for a life membership.
I could argue that unless you're paying yearly, you aren't really supportive of the NRA because once you become a Life member, your dues are fixed and that's it. Whereas if you *really* wanted to support the NRA, you'd just throw money at them even though it didn't make financial sense.
Nay, the sale has probably prompted others, like me, to sign up for higher levels of membership (and therefore more money) than we would have otherwise.Comment
