I'll second that^^^^ Sturdy too. Most of my guns are stored loaded and the racks are just fine with it.Been really happy with these for years. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...t=armory+rackssigpic

I use the hangers from Rifle Rods. They hang in the empty space between the bottom of the shelf and the tops of the barrels that would normally go to waste. You don't end up having to eat up shelf space with a rack that needs to sit on top of a shelf."If a man hasn't found something worth dying for, he isn't fit to live." - Martin Luther King Jr.

The problem with the ones that hang a pistol off the bottom of a shelf os one some pistols dont fit and others are tp heavy. My Browning Buck mark will not work with these and my Alaskan is to heavy over time the rod bends.Comment

One of my safes had a pegboard on the inside of the door. I used something like this one that's 12 bucks from Amazon, but I think the ones I had were under 10 bucks each.

This style here I also have the Browning shelves that have the Same rod style but are screwed to the shelves in a bracket same issue .Originally posted by AreWeFreeOut of curiosity, what brand did you get? I have the original handgun hangers and can't imagine any sub 6 lb. handgun bending the rod.
Mine have .22lr and up, no problems.Last edited by dozer wright; 04-21-2016, 6:15 PM.Comment
