But then, I stay away from politics. However, Anyone who has the guts to stand up on HIS OWN feet and follows constitution has my respects...

    What's your take on this...
Trumps a blowhard who has been all over the map(he was for Obamacare now he is against it, for example) and like Clinton will say whatever he thinks will get him the best chance of election. Plus I really don't like his stance on things like the Kelo decision(which lets the government come in, give you pennies on the dollar for your land which then gets given to a private developer, not for a highway but for corporate offices or new housing developments)

Personally, since California is a forgone conclusion for anyone with a (D) after their name, and with the electoral college popular vote doesn't count anyway, I will probably vote third party.

Voting for Rand Paul at this point is throwing a vote to the (D) party IMO.

This time not just Republicans are voting for Trump or Cruz, there are people like you and I, who've been Dems all our live, but thanks to Obama, we've changed our mind this time. And honestly, IF the new guy does a better job, then who cares which party one belongs to. This is about our country, our future....not really a party issue. So I agree with you...and many more in the same boat.

Agree. Like I said about, it's not about the party... And I am leaning towards Trump, for that very reason. He's not swayed by any party, although he's a Rep, which gives him more power, status, and resources.

Cruz would be my 2nd choice. But like you said, any R over a D. Gosh...Obama really brought a Change! Trump & Cruz would make a dynamic team I think.

ENOUGH SAID.... Not sure why Obama is so pro-immigrant, without Logic. He can't be more immigrant than me - my parents and I are immigrants. But we came through legal system 30 years ago. Worked, paid taxes, are US citizens, dad gets pension as a retired engineer from city of San Francisco. I went to college have a decent job. THAT is called being an immigrant! Jumping over walls in the night, entering the border hidden, living underground, is NOT an immigrant. Illegal is illegal - no matter how it's sugar coated - illegal = unlawful/against law = criminal.

Vote for him in the Primary? If he doesn't win the nomination no harm no foul.

Same as above. Spread the word around maybe he doesn't win the nomination but if he gets enough love he can leverage that for a cabinet position.

Not sure why it matters at all since in California our vote does not count at all. The anti's outnumber us and its winner take all in Calif. so voting almost seems useless (I still do however).

Here is how I plan on voting at this time, this could and likely will change by Nov.
                      Trump vs. Hillary = Trump
Trump vs. Sanders = no idea yet
                      Cruz vs. Hillary = Cruz
                      Cruz vs. Sander = Sanders

I absolutely will vote against Hillary no matter who it is.

I am not sure Trump can be a president and I absolutely know Cruz can't be. The point of a politician is work both sides and find a compromise, Trump I think can do that, Cruz on the other hand sees the other side not as the opposition but as the enemy and the only thing you do with a enemy is fight until they are destroyed, he will not try to work with them and compromise and we will have even worse gridlock than we have now. Sanders I doubt will be a good president but he seems the lesser of all the evils right now.

Sanders is a self-proclaimed Socialist. That you would even consider voting for him to do anything at all related to civil service makes your opinion as worthless to me as someone who would vote for Clinton.

By the way, gridlock in D.C. means Democracy is happening. If you want to see what happens in countries that don't experience gridlock, take a look at North Korea.

So you voted for Obama? And why do you all care about who you're voting for for president? As it is not a popular vote that decides it our vote means nothing in CA.

What was the definition of "madness"? - or should it have been "stupidity" ?

She accomplished some impressive changes against the entrenched good-ol-boy network when she was gov of Alaska. She's on our side of the gun issues, as well.
