    what gun should I buy?

I found out I may be getting another job in the east coast and moving back to VA. So, what gun should I buy in CA to show people how retarded CA gun laws are? A bullet button on an AR isn't dramatic enough. How about one of the new bolt action handguns that comply with SSE 2.0?

Just show them the roster of what we are allowed to buy. That is a strong message there I think.

Buy guns in VA. They are better there.

Don't waste your $ on neutered CA guns. Spend it in VA where you can get something you really want! Congrats and good luck in your new job transfer OP!

Just printout the calguns handgun & rifle flowcharts. That'll suffice.

Show them a picture of a featureless AR. That and the roster are good dramatic ways to illustrate how stupid our laws are

Anything with a mag disconnect and/or a loaded chamber indicator. Just a couple of California's "safety innovations" designed to prevent accidents. Such innovations, much like the TSA, have never been shown to prevent anything. Ever.

You shouldn't be buying a CA compliant firearm to take out of state. You should instead be selling us all your off-roster guns to keep them in-State. You can replace them easily in Virginia. They cannot be easily replaced here if you take yours out-of-state.

                            Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

^ This. Also buy as many off roster guns as you can afford out of state, just in case you move back to CA. We need an influx of off roster guns.
