    itrader feedback

So, I'm the buyer. The seller and I agreed on a price, date, and location. The day prior to the transaction we are to contact one another to confirm the time. I contact the seller via text and he replies with-"Sorry, I've been thinking about it and I don't think I want to sell anymore. I'm going to delete my C.G. thread. Sorry for any inconvenience".

So, between Tuesday and Friday he thinks he doesn't want to sell the handgun anymore, even though we both agreed on the sale transaction prior.

What type of itrader rating would you leave in this situation?

Official answer: Neutral. You had a deal, he broke it. He gave you advance notice and you were not out any money just some time, so there was no recompense needed to make things right ~rkt

Thats the sellers right, he doesn't have to sell. Just as it is your right to leave appropriate feedback.

So other than losing a few seconds of your time, you've pretty much lost nothing.

Go about your life....and please, refrain from posting about the mail being late, or slow drivers on their cell phones.

Had that happen over a benelli m2. He ended up selling it to someone else a couple weeks later. Kinda ticked me off but that's life. I'd just let it slide you didn't lose much time or effort. In the end he saved you money.

            This.
The only thing you lost was some calories using your thumbs to PM him.
Unless you spent actual time or money and were then stiffed, he has every right to decline to sell.

If he left you standing at the LGS maybe, but he told you ahead of time. I'd just move on.

There was a deal and the seller broke it in this case. Unfortunately you can only leave neutral feedback for these weasels and flakes if no money is lost. It may also be that someone else offered him more money.

About 90% of the buyers and sellers on calguns are cool people. The remaining 10% are an unfortunate addition.

The guy had a change of heart on a deal we agreed upon. Then cancelled and apologized. Leave that as feedback.

I would move on with life and not leave any feedback.

                            Thanks for the feedback!!

I see a lot of forum members with a lot of itrader feedback chiming in!!

For all of you sellers that chimed in, doesn't it tick you off when you post SPF and then the day before the sale, the buyer backs out, for one reason or another? Especially, when you could of sold the item to someone else?

I personally agree with Joe Register-someone probably offered him more money!!

Haha! He probably pulled it out of the safe, gave it a little wipe down, looked it over and it re-kindled his flame for it. I could totally see that happening. He probably just had a little change of heart.
