I've dealt with many manufacturers and aftermarket companies and they typically give you turnaround time in *weeks,* e.g., 4-6 weeks. You are barely at 4 weeks, so unless it was something where they told you it was going to be "rush processing" or "quick turnaround time," you are well within the margin of "normal service." I'd even go further and say that if you'd got it back by now it would've been quite fast for slide refinishing.
I know it's hard to be patient, but do what the rest of us do - own a bunch of guns, so you don't even notice the ones that are being worked on.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

Nope. I'm going to email the guy again either this week or beginning of next if I hear nothing. It's been two weeks since I got the "is slated to be looked at shortly" email.Originally posted by Rainbow WarriorLiberals didn't invent douchebaggery but they certainly perfected it.Comment

Just a final update.. On 1/15 I emailed my contact at Sig and asked about my slide and expressed concern over the delay. He got back to me that afternoon and told me he'd personally talked to the shop foreman, located my slide, and was expediting the process. He said it should only be a couple days and apologized.
Sig shipped it Friday and I got it yesterday. They had it about 5-6 weeks, which i'm not thrilled about, but it looks perfect. So that's good.Originally posted by Rainbow WarriorLiberals didn't invent douchebaggery but they certainly perfected it.Comment

Had a problem with the sights on my P226 Mk25 and rather than advice or assistance I got a load of condescending snot from Sig customer service. Gun was sold the next day at a loss but at least it was gone.Freedom is the dream you dream while putting thought in chains.

Every sit I've ever owned besides my X series sigs has given me issues. Lesson learned. 4/4 pistols is not some random lemon. I sold all of them and won't ever look back. This.
I've owned two that have had underwhelming performance. Pretty guns for sure, but they seem to be of poor function.Comment
