Easy there! VERY unlikely that the OP has legal hi cap mags sitting in his garage for the last 15 years. Since he likely doesn't have (and can't legally get) Hi-caps, let's not get him excited. And IF he does, he'd better be sure NOT to put them into a non-featureless rifle.

I never once implied that he could go out and aquire hi cap mags. I'm not stupid.......if I met the OP at the range and he had hi cap mags, as a polite gentleman who loves freedom, I would naturally assume that he legally owns said mags.
YOU sir, made the assumption that he DOESN'T legally own any preban hi cap mags, which is the same assumption a gun-grabber would make if a gun-grabber ran into the OP at the range shooting his hi cap mags.
