Putting Zev in the subject would get better visibility.

I've shot a few tricked out Zev guns and it's not even funny how big a difference it is from stock. If you can afford it do it - you won't regret it (assuming you shoot a lot, like at least once a week or every other week).

We have a Zev Glock for rent at our facility. If you want to shoot one before investing, give it a go. A Trijicon RMR is mounted on the slide.

Definitely worth renting before dropping that kind of coin

I put that trigger in my 17 and it took a lot of adjusting and different springs to get it to run right. In the end I couldn't tell a bid difference in trigger feel.

I don't know how all the other stuff is supposed to help be a better shooter.

I cannot give you feedback on the tricked out slide but I did the trigger, a recoil spring upgrade and weighted mag well on a Gen 3 G34. Still have the OEM slide and barrel. Everyone that shoots it loves it. A buddy did his compact 9 and it is great also. I now shoot this gun as accurately on a consistent basis as I do my 1911s.

That gun is missing the frame and the barrel.

what the big diff and why can't an outfit like Glock do nearly the same thing for much cheaper, mechanical engineering/manufacturing wise?

They do and do it for less and with about 1000% better quality.

They call it the stock Glock.
