    Good Belt?

I am looking for 1-1/2" belts, brown and black that can be worn as everyday belts and also can support holsters if need to be. AND I don't want to pay a fortune.

    Any recommendations?

    Thank you

The essence of Western civilization is the Magna Carta, not the Magna Mac. The fact that non-Westerners may bite into the later has no implications for their accepting the former.

EDIT 2020: To be fair that seems to apply to many Westerners also.

Beltman is good, only a small fortune not large.

If you're not looking for leather, the Wilderness belts are very nice. For everyday wear I'd probably get black so the velcro is not noticeable.

Beltman is always a good choice.

I've been using a Milt Sparks belt which is holding up quite well and hasn't lost it's strength any.

Don Hume. Mines 4 years old. Stain is worn as can be from holster wear. The leather itself is still strong as ever.

The Wilderness, 1.5" Frequent Flyer is a nice belt. Doesnt' quite make it to business casual but does everything else without being noticeably tacticool.

Try Mernickle's Holsters in Nevada. Small business, great guy & family to work with.

I have one of his belts that's 3 years old. Excellent value for the money.

I have a Dillon gun belt that cost me about $50 - not sure if they still cost the same. This thing is thick, I think it could literally be used as a weapon if you needed it. Problem is, the leather is so thick, I don't think you could mount some gun holsters or mag pouches through the belt loops. I actually find some regular leather belts that are thinner to be just as handy and useful for what I need, and durable enough too.

I have 3 of his belts, several mag holders and holsters. I highly recommend his stuff.

Best deals on it are usually at the Reno gun show at the Hilton (or whatever they are calling it now).
