Good read, makes you think, how can idiot politicians even think to regulate gun ownership.

I wouldn't. A lot of parents now days are anti-gun and might find it offensive. I know it sounds stupid, but I wouldn't risk it.

Actually, I should make it one of the lectures in history or social studies...

Very good article. Thanks for sharing!

It really bothers me that a lot of fellow citizens are brainwashed to think guns are bad and shouldn't be used other than in war but without them, we wouldn't be free. Slowly... Our rights are going away. Just seeing the world everyday, day by day, we are all slowly losing the rights our forefathers wanted us to have. (Random stops by the police and airport checks)

I hope we all wake up and stop the restrictions that we're allowing to take place because its just ridiculous how the law is becoming now. As much as we're more free than other countries, with the way things are going, I think we're catching up to the world and the tyranny that surrounds all of us.

Think about it, before... Other citizens from other countries looked up to the United States. They looked to us to do what is right and believed in us. That is why we were so huge with immigration throughout the years. After World War 2, that all changed. Korea wasn't so bad but it really hit us after Vietnam. The world and even our people started to lose respect with what we were doing. Now only a few people (government officials) are responsible for the trouble but they represent you and I. And the respect has gone so low that our President, who is leaving office soon, got not one but TWO shoes thrown at him. No one would dare do that before when we were doing things the "right" way but we've dug ourselves a hole so deep, that people are really starting to dislike us.

I think if our forefathers would grade our government today, they'd give them an F.

                            That's right.

BP88, I'm a teacher, and if I don't do something good (educating kids according to my best knowledge and intentions - which, by accident, is also legal here ) because I'm afraid how a few "possibly" brainwashed parents could react, am I not helping the ones who are slowly taking away our freedoms? Man, you can be scared, but you can keep that.
Now, if you can show me something untrue in that article, I might change my mind.

Nice Article, but unfortunately the reality is our gun rights are being eroded on a regular basis. Politicians have been able to chip & fracture an individuals
                              rights for years.
Look at what we currently have or is being proposed 10 rnd mags, micro stamping of firing pins & individual parts. ID #'s on ammo, no internet ammo
sales. What if they decide to have a 1 round restriction on Magazines?
Many of these proposals are getting to be so restrictive that Manufacturers
will either go bankrupt or just get out.
