    LOL....it absolutely happened! unfortunately i can't be on here 24/7 to respond in such a timely manner you feel is acceptable.

    a lot of good insight guys! i am sure it was bogus, or the he said/she said thing happening. i thought i would post this story here, as i thought this was a FORUM for such discussions. i never suggested i agreed or believed the shop owner. i DO believe that completing your own 80 is legal, and in fact i believe i posted the first few I completed on here! yes, i have done several...as most of you know it's a tough to stop with just 1 or 2...or 3...4....

        An ATF meeting for FFL's would have obviously been discussing the topic from the perspective of finishing 80% lowers for commercial sale. It's a little disturbing the FFL couldn't put two and two together.....

        The ATF wouldn't hold a meeting for FFL's to discuss private at home lower completion.

          An ATF "meeting" that all of the FFLs attended?

          Did they rent out a hotel conference hall and require all of the sole proprietorship shops to close for the day?
