I've been a life member for several years. Any time I read something about how the libs and dems hate the NRA, I submit an additional donation (as I did just a minute or so ago).

I have always pointed out that the anti's always say the reason they can not pass anti-gun laws is the NRA is in the way. That alone should motivate ALL gun owners to join.

But...they won't. The majority of gun owners are the problem. Can you imagine if just 1/4 of all gun owners in the US joined the NRA? And if ALL 223,000 CalGuners joined? We as gun owners would not have to worry about gun laws and no new gun laws would be brought up as often.

But....the majority will always have an excuse as to why they do not join. Heck, I offered to sign up and pay for four people for a year membership here on CalGuns and not ONE person took me up in it!!! One guys excuse was he did not accept charity?!?!?!

So again...to all the whiners....your the problem by not joining the ONE organization that can stop the anti's. So when the order comes to turn in all your semi auto's and your whining that no one tried to stop it....just look in the mirror and have some self awareness and know you did it to yourself.

I don't agree with everything the NRA does or believes, but they are by far the best advocate I have to fight for the rights that the government would try to take away from me. I became a lifetime member a while back. I don't think I have ever voted for a politician that I completely agreed with either, but it never stopped me from voting.

So basically, your manhood enhancement comes from personal attacks against and starting fights with other forum members? It's been my experience that when people do that it's because they got such an arse kicking in the other thread they had to resort to pot shots.

Like you all say: anybody who doesn't throw money at the NRA is a traitor and the cause of all of our gun right problems.

Of course the amount of ignorance it takes to muster that is beyond my capability of correcting so I will just say adieu.......

But I'm sure you're right. All of the problems in kali are caused by the people who let them change the laws or the gun owners who are voting democratic or because we surrendered or some such drivel. And the salvation will come when we throw enough money to the NRA.

Why join the NRA?

Of course join the NRA. If I was a gun manufacturer or gun store,, and it was legal to do so, I would make it a requirement to be an NRA member in order to buy a firearm. Frustrates me that so many gun owners are not members riding on the coattails of gun rights success on the back of NRA members. Shame on them.

I'm just one guy and figured the NRA was the way to go 34 years ago and like that they are fighting for us little guys.
Life member and proud, oh and both my boys have been members for 5 years now 9 and 12.
