I always thought a future of leaving California as a very unlikely thing. But as things unravel on so many fronts, my vacating California one day is inevitable.
That makes me quite sad, but it's even more sad to have watched this state become something so unrecognizable from what I found it to be 25 years ago when i came here. The excessive regulations, the socialism, the infringements, the criminalizing of things that put forth no offense to others, the runaway taxation, distortion in the courts, the lowest-common denominator being given the highest of rewards and allowances, even the culture and civility in general has been perverted, molested, and destroyed.

I feel the same reluctance and disappointment in realizing I may one day sooner than later be leaving the place of my birthplace of 50+ years.
I like water and snow so maybe Oregon or Washington will be my destination.
