My business isn't moving. I work for a company that operates the retail end of Museums and we acquired a new Museum in Fort Worth. My boss knew I'd be interested based off other conversations so she offered me.

Funny thing is we're based in San Diego but most our business comes from New England.

This is what I was thinking. I've got 1,000 rounds of 5.56 reloads, 500 rounds of 40 reloads, and 500 rounds of 45 reloads. Plus some whitebox. I bought after Sandy Hook thinking I'd be at the range more but then life happened.

If you know of the going rate per round, let me know. I'll most likely sell my ammo at a loss since I bought it during that craze and I figured I'd be fair on going costs.

I need new tires and suspension for my Mustang. It'll be roughly $2000-$3000 to make her road ready for that trip. Figured in Texas the cost would be less, shipping is going to be under $1,000. I'm getting a healthy moving bonus (almost 20% of my current salary!!) plus a sizable raise.

That is very little ammo, just put it in a box in the trunk of your car and let it ride there. If you had 10 times that ammo then I would see an issue of packing your car, but it would never be noticed if you put anything else in the car. Keep it and enjoy it in TX

I know you can send long guns to yourself via USPS across state lines, but I'm not sure about handguns.

Welcome to Texas sdsguy87. If you're looking for IDPA or 3-gun in the area, you'll be interested in these websites: http://www.northtexasmultigun.com/ and http://ctidpa.com/content.php?

Do you know which part of town you'll be living? We do miss the San Diego weather, but love the smell of the freedom in the air here....oh, and BBQ!

I've thought about selling but if I did I'd sell at normal market values. I'm personally not a fan of the guys who do that.

I'll be in Fort Worth if my employer and I can agree on a salary. Currently it's being haggled after a verbal agreement :/
