Gun Ownership Polls

So I have been talking to an anti gunner who wants to totally ban guns for private citizens. He is trying to tell me that gun ownership and crime is down. My theory is that these polls show gun ownership is down because gun owners are starting to say they don't own guns because it isn't anybodies business.

This poll is more to see if my thoughts were correct. I think more people are taking the none your business approach and this is why it looks like gun ownership is down.

The number of guns owned climbs every year, but the % of people who own guns declines.

I always answer no to questions like that. Doesn't matter who asks, none of their buisness.

Gun ownership is down on sites that cater to anti 2A folks. I'm willing to bet that if you took a poll on this site, you'ld find gun ownership is at an all time high.

It depends on the survey. If it's anonymous, then I will say I own 10,000 guns, and so does my cat, dog, and goldfish. If not anonymous, then my answer is that I support gun ownership, but don't own any myself since the tragic boating accident.
