Go as light as you can i.e. Crye JPC or similar with a minimal loadout. My personal rig only have 3 primary mags, 2 secondary mags, and plates.

    I prefer ceramic plates.

So, shooters cut in the front and back (identical plates)? Or shooters cut in front and square shaped in back? Thanks. I'm liking this set up and will probably go with this combo. [emoji106]

Both curved shooters cut and yes they are identical.

I wear a set of ar500armor.com level 3 plates in an operator 2 carrier daily. It was just over $330 with the options I selected. It's pretty heavy but I don't have to worry about damaging the plates. They are much more durable than ceramic. The extra weight isn't a big deal to me. It only took about a week to get used to it. It's much more comfortable than my old lv3a vest. Especially when it's hot outside.
