Fake guns confiscated at UK Comic Con

    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/fa...ic-con-n451386
"Fake guns were confiscated from costume-clad enthusiasts before they entered London's MCM Comic Con over the weekend due to Britain's strict firearms laws. "

Oh, and if you buy a knife you don't get to take it out with you

Fake guns confiscated at UK Comic Con

What the hell does this mean???

"If I saw a gun without a cap on here, I wouldn't think it was an actual weapon," said 16-year-old Heather Thomas in her Sonya Blade costume. "But I might if this event was in America."

It means we shouldn't listen to 16-year-old girls.

        .... unless they're your daughter.

Heather has just unveiled the next modus operandi for mass killings in Britain. ISIS will walk about with numerous firearms with no caps on. No one will stop them until they've shot up six city blocks of London.

I wouldn't think ANY loser at a Cosplay Con had the stones - or was of legal age to own - & have any REAL firearms on 'em.

Although this guy might be OLD enough...

There's blood in the streets at the San Diego comic con every year, right?

I attended the last one, I had a replica M109 strapped over my shoulder and the weapons-check guys loved it. They said someone brought in an actual Uzi with the firing pin removed. We all agreed that was awesome and high-fived.

              God bless America

What do you expect from the Britts? They now want their citizens to turn in their sharp pointy kitchen knives, lest they simultaneously all gain consciousness and attack the country en-mass!.

Still chasing the effect, not the cause.

I wonder if the laws will change, ironically, once the population becomes majority middle eastern/muslim.

stupid brits... you'd think they'd have learned from the "Home Guard" embarrassment

                            We'll find out soon.

"Actual weapons — guns, artillery and metal blades — are banned from entering MCM Comic Con completely. However, large displays of swords and knifes can be bought as collector pieces at specialist stalls throughout the show. A mandatory home-delivery system was introduced for the first time this year. "
Pretty soon they'll be fighting wars with paintballs and other less-lethal options. Legislation is more screwed up there than it is here... for now.
