Which gun next ?

Finally built my first AR.

Getting into the game late with the new laws looming, but glad to have it in the safe. Adams Arms piston mid-length, Aero precision lower and lower parts kit. All the featureless items are in order. I'm really happy with this gun.

1000 rnds incoming from bulk ammo, any suggestions as to what I should absolutely get to before 1/1/2017?

Sell the top one and get something nicer or more useful.

Yeah was lookin at the ammo... I don't have the ability to get into re-loading right now and 308 looks like it'll get pricey quick for as much rifle shooting as I'd like to be doing.

It does, but damn it sure feels good on a AR platform.

how about a rimfire if you have chances/places to plink? ruger 10/22 for a rifle or ruger single six 22lr/wmr handgun are easy platforms to softly addict non gunners with the rkba. 17hmr if you like long distance fun.

otherwise i suggest a ruger blackhawk 357/38/9mm convertible single action revolver. you get to dip your toe into wheelguns, single actions, magnums...

all the above are likely always safe from the clutches of the antigun commissars.

Yeah a 10/22 is on my list for sure, the folks have one up north so not a must have purchase at the moment.

Probably gonna build a 308 or at least get the lowers before God knows what happens in 2017...
