Note that those who have repeatedly expressed enough vile and incoherent content as to render your views irrelevant, have been placed on my ignore list. Thank you for helping me improve my experience and direct my attention towards those who are worthy of it. God bless your toxic little souls.

Which one of those would be your first choice for you to take into battle?

+1 on the VP9 or P320. Both are great striker fired pistols in 9mm. The P320 is built around the trigger pack, which can be swapped from frame to frame, sub compact to full size, which gives you a bunch of options for future. Shoot as many as possible before settling.

The whole need for a rail or the want to use a laser is something that I will never understand. I don't want to rely on a battery operated anything when I'm shooting a handgun. But, to each their own. I know it's the modern tacticool thing to do. I'm just not a Gecko45 wannabe.
It's very handy to have a light on a nightstand gun. You don't have to turn it on and anything that aids in target identification is a good thing. If it somehow dies you're no worse off than not having it.

I was anti laser until they started showing up at night matches and I saw how they aid in target acquisition. Especially with the new bright green ones.

OP - You need to buy a Glock eventually so you can decide if you love or hate Glocks. Might as well get that out of the way now.
