Then back it up with figures that support what you say. You don't have to name anyone just provide real verifiable data to back up that bad guys use $150 guns.

Sadly, I do not. For the same reasons you do not. My application has been on file for a good year now waiting on the resolution of Peruta. The whole situation makes me furious. It all may be moot for me, however, as I'm currently up in Washington trying to figure out a place to move to. Sadly, the odds are better that I will move before Peruta ever gets resolved.

I see, do you often keep a man cannon in your glove box?

Once again SCE asking questions about something that is illegal... And he's thinking about becoming a cop.

Once again SCE demonstrates his deep understanding of the law.

Yeah right, you might want to have your "bestie" read this section and justify what he just told you.

16850. As used in this part, "locked container" means a secure
container that is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, keylock,
combination lock, or similar locking device. The term "locked
container" does not include the utility or glove compartment of a
                            motor vehicle.

Unfortunately your "bestie" who hopefully isn't LEO has as shallow understanding of the law as you. P5Ret is quoting from from the DOJ website here:

HANDGUNS Pursuant to California Penal Code section 25610, a United States citizen over 18 years of age who is not prohibited from firearm possession, and who resides or is temporarily in California, may transport by motor vehicle any handgun provided it is unloaded and locked in the vehicle’s trunk or in a locked container. Furthermore, the handgun must be carried directly to or from any motor vehicle for any lawful purpose and, while being carried must be contained within a locked container.

If you would have done a two minute Google search you wouldn't look like a doofus.

Whatever guys, you don't even know. My bestie has been through the gauntlet once or twice while LEO. He knows and never disappoints.
