I rarely sell any guns, but I sold my G23 because I found myself carrying my G27 instead. My G27 is the gun that I carry OWB the most. I can also run my normal G22 mags in it if the need arises. Personal choice, but I like my G27.

But if I want to carry my preban 13 round G23 magazines in my Glock 27 it does extend the grip somewhat. Then again, owning a 23 works too.

The .40 round isn't that snappy for my large hands. The 26 and 27 are easy to carry around anyway.....

      That's it, Bob!
I'm gonna polish my 27 slide!
      That thing is gorgeous.

        Accuracy

I have a friend who has 3 Glocks. 22, 23 and 27. I also have all three of these guns. We have both found the Glock 27 to be more accurate than the 23. I have owned two different Glock 23's and both were less accurate than the 22 and 27. Go with the 27.

I know its only a half inch difference, But as a appendix carry that half inch means a lot as far a maneuverability. I'm choosing the .40 as well for versatility, 3 calibers as easy as changing the barrel. Im sure im going to regret this, But whats yall's opinions on the 27?
i thought the same until i actually did it, the half inch longer might make the better diff, try a 23 if you can, carried a 27 for a while, then changed to 23, was much more comfy for me

I have owned a 27 gen 3 and a shield .40. The 27 was too snappy for me without a Pearce extension. I used a piece if a bicycle tube stretched over the grip for more traction. I carried it for a couple of years, but it is a brick on your hip. The shield 40 carried much better for me. I shot it primarily with the extended magazine. I found that the palm of my hand would hurt after a few magazines. Maybe I felt the recoil more since it is thinner than the glock. Or maybe I'm a wimp. I sold both and bought a shield 9 and I love it. Installed a apex sear to improve the pull.
