    But you will pay for a set of punches, and then you'll jack-up your lower's finish, damage the lower itself and then you'll be fixing the lower....or scrapping it after you damage it.

    If there was a cheaper alternative to laser engraving, or tool engraving...wouldn't everyone be doing it ??

    Also, there are requirements for engraving a S/N on a lower.

    It's you lower, and it's your money.
    I just can't wait to see how bad you are gonna ruin your lower, trying to save money.

        Pay to get it engraved or it'll end up looking like crap, assuming you don't damage it in the process. That really is the only answer if you insist upon putting markings on it.

          Save up if you have to, but have the engraving done by someone with the correct tools and experience.
